Alexey Krasheninnikov

Alexey Krasheninnikov was born in Alma-Ata in 1976. Music started in the music school Prokofiev in Alma-Ata, and from 1990 - in St. Petersburg. From 93 th to the 97-th year he study violin in College of Rimsky-Korsakov (V.Berdichevsky, violin, and at the same time, Alexander Nesterov - the composition). Since 1999 he is working as violinist in the orchestra of Mariinsky Theatre (conducted by Valery Gergiev) . He has finished the St. Petersburg state Conservatoire (violin, professor - A.G. Stang) in 2004. 2006-2011 - a student at St. Petersburg Conservatory (composition, class of Professor A.D. Mnatsakanyan). A. Krasheninnikov is the author (and often - the performer) of such works as a two string quartet(1998, 2010), Concerto for Violin and Percussion(2007), Concerto for Clarinet and Strings(2006), Quattro Basso Ostinato(2008) for four double basses, vocal-symphonic poem "Tskhinval"(2009) for tenor, mixed chorus and orchestra, Symphony for orchestra (2011) etc. Works of A. Krasheninnikov, performed both in Russia and abroad (in the year 2008 in Israel voiced String Quartet and Violin Concerto, in 2009, the premiere of the poem "Tskhinval" in South Ossetia's capital). Composer collaborating with such orchestras as the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra, ensemble "Wiener Collage", whose members are musicians of the orchestra of the Vienna Opera House, the Quartet "St. Petersburg".
